As architects, we follow a detailed approach to seeing your project concept become a reality. We recommend booking a Discovery Meeting to learn more about what we offer and get some firm direction before embarking on your project.

Discovery Meeting
Aim: To ensure your project starts in the right direction with sound advice .

Likely outputs:
• Initial research (in office)
• Site meeting (approx. 1hr)
• Recording brief
• Discussion of budget & likely costs
• Discussion of ideas
Fee: $220 incl. GST
Development Approval

(if required)
Aim: To further resolve the design and prepare detailed drawings for costing and council submission.
​
Likely outputs:
• Confirm preferred design concept
• Receive update on cost estimate
• Select external materials
• Provide set of drawings for issue to council for approval
• Perspective views from 3D model
Fee: Custom to project
Construction Documents
Aim: To provide detailed construction documentation for tendering to builders and for construction.

Likely outputs:
• Finalise all drawings & details
• Prepare specifications and schedules
• Issue drawings to prospective builders for tendering
• Adjust drawings based on tender pricing
• Administrating hand over to preferred builder
Fee: Custom to project
Concept Design
Aim: To explore design ideas that meet the brief and are aligned to budget.
Likely outputs:
• Site analysis & obtain site survey
• Refine scope of work
• Measure existing conditions
• Test planning ideas against the budget
• Present concept design for discussion and review.
Fee: Custom to project
Design Development &
Building Approval
Aim: To provide detailed documentation required for building approval by a Building Certifier.

Likely outputs:
• Further refine design detail
• Obtain quotes from consultants
• Co-ordinate specialist consultant design into the project
• Select all finishes & materials including kitchens & bathrooms
• Submit documentation to building certifier for approval
Fee: Custom to project
Construction phase services
Aim: To assist during construction to ensure the build outcome is in line with the design intent and documentation.

Likely outputs:
• Attend regular site visits
• Provide ongoing information to builder where required
• Assist certifier with the Final Certificate of Completion
